Dear All,

I spent many years in Japan, since I was very young, and I got to fall in love for the culture, the history and the endless sensibility of the Japanese people.

My own family has a century old history with Japan, since when my great-grandfather started to travel to "Nippon" on coral and pearls trading trips in the early 1900s; today, my brother Cristiano living in Tokyo with his beautiful japanese fiancée, Mai. Together, they run our family boutique of fine Italian Cameos in Tokyo, M+M Scognamiglio, temporarily closed due to the current tragic events.

For all these very personal reasons, and in order to contribute even in a small way to the unimaginable tragedy that hit Japan this month, I decided to "dedicate" my Lexington Avenue boutique to Japan, and devolve 50% of sales of my Cameo jewelry, from March 25th through April 30th, to the Japanese Red Cross Emergency Relief.

I hope you can spread the word, and help me support Japan, because the emergency will sadly last longer than the "news" coverage.

Healty Soap Shampoo Day

Yes, nima nyima soaps can be shampoo, too. Our soaps are cold process, not heated, mixed all ingredients in 104 F, just like raw food, which means all vitamins and enzyme are alive.

Our recommendation for the shampoo is Himalayan Mountain Woods. 7 different medical herbs are in it and many professional aromatherapists like it. This is the good ph and oil balance soap.

Massage on your scalp for 1st shampoo. Do not forget behind the ears. Rinse well and go 2nd shampoo. When you rinse out, you feel your hair gets different texture. Prepared pink colored solution from Himalayan Pink Rock Bath Salt and sprinkle on your head and hair. Without rinse the hair, go to wash your body and face. Put the hair conditioner, then rinse out the hair.

If you use the hair dryer, put a little amount of hair oil on the end of the hair. Under the hot and humid day, amount should be adjusted.

nima nyima is donating the soaps to this event.
Tibet House will give a portion of the proceeds to Tibetan Children's Village (TCV), an netgrated educational community for destitute Tibetan children in exile, as well as for hundreds of those escaping from Tibet every year. TCV was established in 1960 by Tsering Dolma Takla, the elder sister of H.H. the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, India and has been the main school for Tibetan refugee children.
